easy gulab jamun - no gits needed!

1.5 : 1 ratio of Carnation Milk Powder to Bisquick

add paal and just a bit of thayir, just enough to make it into a dough. you should knead this well. optionally add some melted butter / ghee. but knead it so you get a good dough.

half an hour wait pannungo. make balls and fry. make sure the oil is hot before adding, then reduce the heat when it is hot enough. fry some balls.

sakkarai paagu:

1.5 : 1 ratio sugar : water. heat water to boiling, add sugar. optionally add other flavours, like cardamom if you want or have it.

use a chinna oosi or pin to make small holes in the balls. add the balls to the sugar water and heat the whole thing for a couple of minutes. both these things will ensure 100% sugar syrup soaking so the middle will be soft. let it cool, then put it in the fridge. you are done!
serve it with vanilla ice cream if you want!

what is bisquick? and can I just use your average milk powder you get in western shops.... not the indian one??
