San Doll...That Guy actually got a placement at Microsoft.

See this

Flash animation resumes *can* get you hired ... especially with the Office Graphics team!
News flash (hee, hee … well, not really) ... Alexandre Gueniot (the guy with the cool flash animation resume) has been hired by Microsoft!

Robert Scoble blogged this bit of news last week, but being the good HR girl that I am, I wanted to get Alexandre’s permission first before announcing that he’s joining Microsoft. (You never know who wants to keep this stuff private, you know.)

Last week, Robert sent me the link to Alexandre’s latest creation and asked me to check on whatever happened with his application. When Alexandre posted his flash resume, Robert forwarded it Zoë and me, and Zoë forwarded it along to our college recruiting team. I knew a college recruiter planned to contact him, but I didn't hear anything after that.

Well, it turns out that Alexandre begins his internship with the Office Graphics team on Monday! I’ve asked Alexandre if he’ll write a guest entry for this blog to tell us more about what prompted him to create his resume and what type of reaction he received afterwards. He agreed and also promised to write about his first impressions of Microsoft. Maybe he’ll make another animation … this one about the Microsoft culture. Office can be a weird place ... watch out! :)

Go to his website after the flash stuff, and you'll see that more than 1,000,000 people have seen his resume. DAMN.
