hi

i am using redhat 9.if i am connecting the USB flash drive to my system.it couldnot recognise the USB drive.how can i use USB flash drive in linux.

Put ur flash drive in the usb slot

create a dir in ur home directory called pendrive (any name)

then mount it by the command

mount /mnt/sda1 pendrive

now u can acces the files from the dir pendrive

I think u ahve to be in root to mount it
