Opera browser became free of cost a few days/months back  I was giving it a try for the last few days. Any regular Opera users here

For geetham, everything gets center aligned in Opera, donno why

Me still a Firefox regular, just trying to screw around Opera :ee:

Just trying it for fun buddy. For all practical purposes, Firefox 1.5 Beta 2(now RC 1 from yesterday) is the browser I use.

Did you get the alignment problem on Geetham too, using Opera? I browsed through the preferences, but could'nt find anything related to alignment :snooty:

I had Opera some 6 years ago, When that browser was advertised to be the browser that fits in a Floppy. Liked that tabbed interface, but gave up Opera after getting used to Neoplanet.

Hey I remember Neoplanet too, but it way too slow compared to IE those times. So gave up. I never knew Opera existed 6 years ago (That makes it 1999, hell I never had a PC until 2001 :ahha:).

Opera has been on the market for almost 10 years now. Neoplanet was the first skinnable browser I guess and was much robust compared to IE then. I had a 486 then :) and a brand new high Speed 133MHz Pentium :sm12:

Opera is the original inventor of the tabbed browser family and also the rare one that dint inherit the mozilla codebase... was pretty good back then...

The feature that I liked the most was your ability to instantly turn on or off pictures of a page... that was helpful in the days of the dialup connections... where in I would just turn it on to see actress wallpapers :ahha:

But then now it is ad supported and free.. but then you have mozilla that is free and has no ads on it... but still you do have a fan following for it...

Speed 133MHz Pentium
You are lucky I started off with a 4Mhz proc...
