I am seeing this bluetooth standard in most of the products..like mouse, PDAs and cell phones.

my friend wanted to go for wireless mous. so, we went throu' some models.

there r some models with normal RF wireless and some with bluetooth technology (this is bit costlier than the normal one)

i want to know exactly the diff bet these two. does bluetooth increases the range or something?

i jus went thro' the definition of bluetooth. but none of them say the diff bet ordinary wirless one and bluetooth.

if anyone has idea on this, help me plz.

Lasik:

These links might help you to find at least some ideas:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_mouse

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a radio standard and communications protocol primarily designed for low power consumption, with a short range (power class dependent: 1 meter, 10 meters, 100 meters) based around low-cost transceiver microchips in each device.

Bluetooth mouse seems to be more acurate than others....but its not a commerically successful one.
