1. Extract thick coconut milk from coconut ( 1/2 moodi ) (Grind coconut thuruval in mixie and squeeze milk through tea filter. Add little water and extract again.)
2. Heat oil (5 t.s.)in a kadai and fry cut onions (1) well. Add tomato (1)cut in to pieces, green chilies (4 sliced lengthwise0 and fry till well mashed.
3. Add paneer pieces (100 gm. cut in to small squares )/or boiled vegetables such as carrot , beans ,cauliflower , green peas ,potatoes (1 cup)/ or cut mushroom /or boiled chicken pieces and fry well.
4. Add cashew -nut paste ( grind 10 cashews in little water )and coconut milk. When boiling add salt and when gravy is thick, add kothumalli & remove from fire.
