Pachai Payiru Paayasam


Ingredients:

Pachai payyiru(moong dal)-half cup
ghee-to fry cashews,raisin
Cashews-15
raisins-15
cardamon powder-half teaspoon
Coconut-3pieces (optional)
Sugar-acc. to taste

Procedure:

1.Soak the moong dal(pottu neekiya pasiparrupu)in water for 10 min,then cook the dal till it becomes soft.

1a) After cook the dal (it becomes soft) then add sugar.

2. Extract milk from coconut(optional)& mix with boiled dal & boil for few more minutes,remove from the stove.

3. In little ghee,fry cashews,raisins

4. Add fried cashews,raisins,cardomon powder to dal.

Now payasam is ready it is easy & also tasty
