what is the purpose?

What is the input values?

Where are you going to use?.

Then ofcouse I can help you.

1)its for the chromatogram calculations
2)the input is an ascii datas (two diff results in an table format)
3)i m doing my project in it

these are the important thing .

thanks shi dinesh i used matlab also but i cant able to calculate the lots of gaussian areas in a single chromatogram.

i dont know what chromatogram is ... but i can surely recommend R (can be downloaded from www.r-project.org) for all statistical computational needs. It is an opensource thingie and it is just wonderful!

hey rock
ur explanation is not enough.
can u give minimum the mathematical formal for ur curve.
or explain the project.

I came across a software CURVEFIT one year ago, I think it will work, But I'm not sure where U can get it, try to search the web

I think u can use S-Plus for this purpose. It is a multipurpose statistical software.

S-Plus is the parallel commercial version of R, the open source stuff. So, I would recommend R, which comes for free :), AND, R's graphics are much powerful than S-plus's.
