Vedha kudutha Kutthu parotta recipe'ku this one will go well..
I am giving u 2 recipes.. one is more in depth and will take a bit more time.. Other one is very easy and fast to do..

(1)Easy, Fast one


Beans - 100gms,
Potato- 2,
onion-1/4 kgs,
ginger - 1 small piece,
garlic - 3 pieces (if needed),
cocunut -1/2,
green chillies-5

(1) Cut the vegetables into small pieces and boil it till half cooked.
(2) Put the pan, pour oil and add ginger and garlic paste to it.
(3) Then fry the finely cut onions to brown and add the cut tomatoes.
(4) Meanwhile grind the cocunut and green chillies. Also grind the sesame and pattai (if necessary).
(5) After frying the onion and the tomatoes nicely, add all the cooked vegetables, add the cocunut, chilli paste. Allow it boil nicely.

Kurma ready.........

(2) The other one

Ingredients :
Dhaniya - 1/4 tsp
Salt - for ur taste
Grated Coconut - 2 tsp
Cinnamon - 1 " stick
Fennel Seeds - 1/4 tsp
poppy Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cashews - 3
Cloves - 2
Cardamom - 2
Curd - 1/4 cup (optional)
Ghee - 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder - a pinch

Vegetables :
Potato - 2 medium
Carrot - 1
Beans - 5 or 6
Green Peas - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 large
Green Chilly - 3
Ginger - small piece
Garlic - 2 cloves
Coriander - small bunch

(1)Cut the vegetables (carrot, beans and potato) into bite sized pieces and cook in 2 cups water.
(2)Add the peas, 1 tsp salt and a pinch of turmeric powder to this water. (3)Cut the onion into fine pieces and keep aside.
(4)Grind chilly, ginger, garlic, 1/2 of the coriander, dhaniya, coconut, fennel seeds and 1/2 of the cinnamon into a thick paste adding very little water.
(5)Grind poppy seeds and cashew separately into a fine paste.
(6)In a heavy bottomed vessel, heat up the ghee and fry the cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
(7)Add the cut onion and sauté for a couple of minutes, or until tender.
(8)Add both the pastes, 3/4 cup water, 1 tsp salt and bring to a boil.
(9)After it boils for about 5 minutes, add the cooked vegetables and simmer for a few more minutes.
(10)Let it cool and then add the curd and mix well.

Tasty Kurma ready !!!!
