Apparently she is the Indian version of Nigella Lawson.
I just like to watch her cook- haven't tried any of her recipes though :ee:

no I sort just like watching her cook while I have my frozen dinner :oops:
but you should try the sweetcorn cob curry, it looks rather delicious :)

I think she likes ginger, she puts huge chunks in everything ...
is that bad?

8 grams in one + liter of dal is not bad.. :b: If you eat sushi, you will probably have that much in four small california rolls.. :sm12: :)

Blue.. Ginger is good.. and helps with several things from digestion and such..

Ginger has high levels of antioxidants ... maybe its good for you ..

but if you put this much in cooking ... the taste of ginger dominates .... and when you put it in big slices like she does its easy to throw it away ;) ... i usually cut it into small pieces and add it while I cook ....

I meant bad in a culinary way.
(I grate it to a pulp - so that I don't notice its existence)

(I love ginger as long as it's pickled and comes in pink thin stripes accompanied by any type of sushi :ahha: )
