1.Soak pasipayaru for 3hours and boil.
2.Grind - cut onions (3),garlic (6 pal), kothumalli thalai (1/2 kattu), manjal thul (1/4 t.s.),chilly powder (11/2t.s.)garam masala (1/2t.s.), sugar (1/2 t.s.), salt (1/2 t.s.)with little water.
3.Heat oil (3 t.s.),add seeragam (1/2 t.s.) and then grind masala. Fry for some time.
4.Add tomato puree (1/2 cup ) and fry well.
5.Add boiled payaru and allow to boil till gravy is thick.
Note: boiled potato &green peas or finely chopped greens (mulai keerai / arai keerai/Spinach ) can also be added with payaru.-sproted payaru is preferable.
