Ingredients

Pulungal aarisi Maavu - 1 kg
Karuppu Yellu - 1 tea spoon
Oomam - 1 tea spoon
Salt water - as required

(1) Mix the maavu, yellu and oomam with salt and salt water.
(2) In a pan pour oil and let it heat. Once its very heat, stuff the mix in the murukku pizhliyal and using star design, pour the mix in the oil for each murukku.
(3) Let it fry for a while. Then remove it and keep it aisde.
(4) Once u have made everything. Now start putting the made murukkus again in oil to get the golden color.
(5) Dry the murukku in newspapers, as they drain lot of oil from the murukku.
