Chicken Alfredo


1 1/2 lbs chicken strips or tenders
1 1/3 cups French fried onions
12 oz. jar alfredo sauce (this can be substituted by 10 3/4 oz. can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese)
1 cup milk
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
2 tbsp bacon bits
1 tbsp oil


1.Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet until hot. Stir-fry chicken until browned.
2.Stir in 2/3 cup French fried onions and remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
3.Serve over pasta. Top with remaining onions.

Makes 6 servings
