Ordinary Mango Pickle

Big Sour Mango-1(cut into small pieces discarding the kottai)
Sesame Oil-3 to 4 tbsps
Katti Perungayam-small piece
Vendhayam-1/4 spoon
Mustard seeds-1/2 spoon
Curry leaves-little
Chilli powder-1 spoon or as per need
salt- as per the need

1) Pour little of sesame oil(just for frying) in a kadai and fry katti Perungayam and vendhayam seeds. Take care that you don't blacken vendhayam seeds.
2) Powder the above fried items together and keep aside.
3) Pour the reamining oil in the still hot kadai and add mustard seeds. When the mustard pops out, add curry leaves and then chilli powder and salt.
4) Fry for a few seconds(say 15 seconds) and pour this over the cut mango.
5) Now add the powdered mixture(Perungayam + Vendhayam) to the mango pickle.

U'r mango pickle is ready.
