Recipe 1 - Chinese Style

INGREDIENTS

Part 1
Boiled Noodles - 150-200 gms
Oil - 4 Tbsp
Red Chilli Powder -1 Tsp
Whole Red Chilli ( Broken in half ) - 3 Nos
Soya Sauce - 2 Tbsp
Salt ( To Taste ) - 2 Tsp
Tomato Ketchup ( To Taste ) - 1 Tbsp
Chilli Sauce ( To Taste ) - 1 Tbsp

Part 2
Carrots ( Shredded ) - 2 Nos
Capsicum ( Shredded ) - 1 No
Cabbage ( Shredded ) - 1 Tcup
Chopped Spring Onion - 1 Tcup
French Beans ( Shreddded ) - 10 Pcs
Oil - 4 Tbsp
Ajinomotto - ½ Tsp
Soya Sauce - 2 Tbsp
White Vinegar - 3 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tbsp
Salt ( To Taste ) - ½ Tsp
Pepper ( To Taste ) - ½ Tsp
2 Tbsp Cornflour Mixed with 4 Tbsp Water
½ Tcup Water

Garnish

Chopped Coriander Leaves

Accompaniment
Chilli Sauce
Tomato Ketchup
Soya Sauce
Green Chillies in Vinegar

METHOD
Part 1

1. Heat Oil, Remove from fire and add Whole Red Chilli and Red Chilli Powder.
2. Return to fire and add Noodles and other Ingredients.Keep this Noodles aside.

Part 2

1. Blanch all the Vegetables except Capsicum. Blanched'na.. correct'a half cook the vegetables in water and then immediately put them under a tap of running cold water.. so that cooking of the vegetable stops :)
2. Heat Oil.Add Ajinomotto to it. (If u are pure vegetarian u can avoid this ingredient :))
3. Next add the Blanched Vegetables and stir fry well.
4. Add Capsicum and mix.Next add Seasonings,Sauces,Water and Cornflour Batter.
5. Cook well till Vegetables are almost done but not overcooked.
6. Check the Seasoning and adjust accordingly.

To serve spread Fried Noodles on the platter and then pour the Vegetables on the Noodles .Serve hot garnished with Coriander Leaves.You can even mix the Vegetables and the Fried Noodles and then serve.
Serve with Various Sauces.

Recipe 2

Ingredients:
boiled flat noodles 2 cups
dried red chillies - 3
small bunch spring onion - 1
small capsicum thinly sliced - 1
garlic finely chopped - 2 tspn
vinegar - 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
tandoori color if u need :)

(1) Chop spring onions into 1/4" pieces cut slanting.
(2) Pound red chillies and garlic coarsely. Heat 1 tbsp. oil, add chilli and garlic and fry for a minute.
(3) Add capsicum and fry till tender.Add spring onion and fry again for 2-3 minutes.
Add noodles and salt and mix well.
(4) Add tandoori colour and vinegar to taste.

Heat very well in oven or microwave before serving.
Serve with ur fav sauce or any manchurian in gravy
