Vegetable puffs

Ingredients
For the outer cover:
Puff pastry sheets,(available frozen: use pepperidge farm or any other brand),
butter,

For the filling:
small boiled potatoes - 2
fresh green peas – ¼ cup(optional)
chopped beans - 1/4 cup
chopped carrots - ¼ cup
garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
ginger-garlic paste - 2 teaspoon (optional)
chili powder
salt.

Method

1. In a pan, heat 2 teaspoon oil then add ginger-garlic paste.
2. Add green peas when they turn soft, add beans and cook till soft then add carrots and potato cubes.Cook well.When it is done add garam masala powder, salt and chili powder.Mash well .
3. Remove from the heat and now the filling is ready.
4. Thaw pastry sheets at room temperature for 45 minutes. Unfold each sheets and cut into strips. Divide each strip into 3 rectangles. Apply butter to each rectangle. Put some filling in the center of the rectangle. Use some butter and join the opposite corners to form a folded shape.
5. Preheat oven to 400 deg. Arrange the puffs in a baking tray. Bake for 25 minutes or till crisp and light brown.

Serve with tomato ketchup.
