View Full Version : Banana Pudding - taste like panchamirdam

Banana pudding:
Ingredients:
Ripe bananas - 6 medium sized (half dozen)
Water - 2 to3 cups
Sugar - 250 gm.
Elaichi powder - 2 tsps
Cashews/Badams/Raisins,grapes,apples(finely chopped) for garnishing.
Method:* Finely chop the bananas and keep them aside.
* Heat the water and add the sugar when the water comes to a boil. Make a thick jeera.
* Now remove the pan from the fire and add the chopped bananas immediately.
* Also add the elaichi powder,custard powder, food colour and cashews/badams/raisins.
* Keep in the refrigerator for an hour or two. Serve cold

This taste will be like panchamirdam.

acho dont tell like that.... :( I did try...that day itself.. but forgot to post here .. elachi powder i dont like :( .. so instead of that.. used badam powder (custard powder just a few)and cashew alone for garnishing. it was very tasty .....
