View Full Version : PLEASE TALK WITH ME

As you got up this morning, I watched you,
and hoped you would talk to me,
even if it was just a few words,
asking my opinion or thanking me
for something good that happened
in your life yesterday.
But I noticed you were too busy,
trying to find the right outfit to wear.

When you ran around the
house getting ready,
I knew there would be
a few minutes for you to
stop and say hello,
but you were to busy.
At one point you had to wait
fifteen minutes with nothing to
do except sit in a chair.
Then I saw you spring to your feet.
I thought you ! wanted to talk to me
but you ran to the phone and
called a friend to get the latest gossip instead.
I watched patiently all day long.
With all our activities I guess you
were too busy to say anything to me.

I noticed that before lunch you looked around,
maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to me,
that is why you didn't bow your head.
You glanced three or four tables over
and you noticed some of your friends
talking to me briefly before they ate,
but you didn't. That's okay.
There is still more time left,
and I hope that you will talk to me yet.

You went home and it seems as if
you had lots of things to do.
After a few of them were done,
you turned on the TV.
I don't know if you like TV or not,
just about anything goes there and
you spend a lot of time each day
in front of it not thinking about anything,
just enjoying the show.
I waited patiently again as you watched
the TV and ate your meal,
but again you didn't talk to me.

Bedtime I guess you felt too tired.
After you said goodnight to your
family you plopped into bed and
fell asleep in no time.
That's okay because you
may not realize that
I am always there for you..
I've got patience,
more than you will ever know....
I even want to teach you how
to be patient with others as well.

I love you so much that
I wait everyday for a nod,
prayer or thought,
or a thankful part of your heart.
It is hard to have a one-sided conversation.

Well, you are getting up once again.
Once again I will wait,
with nothing but love for you.
Hoping that today you will give
me some time.
Have a nice day!

Your friend,
GOD

guys this is sooooo true the number of times we're screaming in our minds for God to speak to us and we just dont listen.so my advise to you is open your heart and hear what it is God is trying to say to you . God Bless

Very nice.

I don't do pooja or anything. But I always get up by thinking of GOD. We should spend some time for praying.

imho, majority of us are God-fearing and try to see God
through various things/happennings in life.

So I feel that this one is a bit of exaggeration by some
person who wanted to make it all dramatic !!

I strongly disagree with you Vennai.

After reading the post, I felt that the letter was meant specially for me. Every morning i get up, do the routine works and just go near the God's picture and take some Vibuthi (Holy Ash) and start off. It has become more of a practice/routine rather than a calm and peaceful morning prayer. some time back, I was thinking about this in tranquility and was doing a self analysis of my behaviour and character. I never remember thanking god instantly after he had done something good to me. But there are innumerable times when I had felt cross with him for putting my hopes down all of a sudden.

Well, I didnt intend to tell all this and irritate with my stories. But suddenly felt the words flowing as i started to reply. So I stop with this.Sorry,

Silican

haha silican anne,

good... itha thaan naan ethir paathen... :D

but why did you abruptly stop your post...

my basic thought of making my previous post
was to make people like you (nothing personal )
guilty for not being in close touch with God

I know many people visit this section but not many
post... so If I say something radical like this...
I will make them jump up and make a post and
it does not stop there... they will feel bad if they
have not been in touch with God :D

Anyways, atleast I am glad it worked with one :D

Let us all be friends of God :rpupg;G:

arumugam,

Did you not read the second sentence. "I always think of God when I get up".

I don't do pooja means, like real pooja with everything (what others call as doing pooja).

I chant kandar sasti kavasam, kandar guru kavasam and some other devotional songs thats all. When I was in Bangalore I was going to Temple regularly. But in Madras ...... only once I went.

1. sari sari, kovapadala (sariyana nerathula nalla advice, mamiyar vettukku porene?)

2. porumai - kadalinum periyadunnu kelvipattirukken adu enna 'pottu kadalayavida periyadu" (yen kalinum periyadunnu sonnangannu theriyuma?)

3. Sorry. Kilu kiluppai vanga poi-irunthennu than sonnen. Vankittenu sollalaye?. Nijamava I could not find a nice kilu-kiluppai here. But I could buy some nice dolls which is singing some nice song. To learn alphabets, I bought some board with nice pictures and mike. I hope she likes them. Sure I will buy a kilukiluppai from Madras and give it to her.

P/S: I told you if you gift kulukuluppai to divya then her intelligence will improve. she will become a doctor as you like. Just think about it.
