Hi anyone can help me to delete the Linux from the HD which is accompanied with WINDOWS XP?

Because once I tried to delet LINUX from WINDOWS,but my computer lost its booting path for both the OS. Then I struggled to enter into the WINDOWS XP.

Even boot up disc also did not help. Finally I started from the recovery cd.

Here I want to know how to delete the LINUX OS from WINDOWS safely?
