    BISI BELE BHATH


    1). 1 cup rice + 1 spoon salt
    (palaya arisiya iruntha konjam overcook pannikonga. illana bisibelebath senjathukapuram satham thani thaniya irukum. smash aagaathu)


    2). 1/2 cup thoor dall (thuvaram paruppu) (ithu normala cook pannina poothum).

    3). 50 g green peas ,50g beans(cutpanninathu),1 potato narukinathu(romba sinnatha cut panna venom) +1/2 spoon sugar (sugar veg. green color la vachu irukum ). ithu ellathayum 3/4 tha cook panni vachukonga.

    4). 1 cup sinna vengaayam (onion) cut panni atha oil la fry panni (romba fry panna vendom...onion color maarume appo eduthudalaam) boil pannina veg. add pannunga.

    5). 1 1/2 spoon sambar powder (ithu ongaloda sambar powdera poruthathu....oru cup rice and veg ku evalo powder iruntha taste nalla irukumnu paathuttu podunga.). sambar powder la asafoetida and red chilli add pannalanna oru 5 red chilli( ithum ongalukku evaloo karam venumgiratha poruthathu) oru 3pinch asafoedida sethukonga)

    6). 4 cinnamon sticks(2") + 6 cloves + 8 maratti moggu (ithu cloves polave irukkum, konjam length jaathiya irukum)

    7).ippo oru spoon oil illa ghee kadaila add panni maratti moggu,cinnamon,cloves,red chillies(sambar la add pannalanna), asafoetida(sambar la add pannalanna kadaisiya add pannavum). fry pannatha cool panni....romba fina illama konjam karakarappa powder pannikonga.

    8). oru sinna lemon alavukku puli (tamarind) eduthu thick ka karachu vachukonga

    9). ippo cooker la rice, dall, veg + onion, 1 1/2 spoon sambar powder, tamarind + salt thevaipatta check pannittu konjam add pannikonga.....ippo itha nalla mix panni oru one hour ku apadiye vachudunga.....

    (one hour la salt,karam ellathayum rice nalla absorb pannikum). one hour ku apurama konjam water add panni... thosai maavu pathathukku intha bisibelebath irukka maathiri vachu, ippo cookera adupila vachu oru whistle vanthathum erakidunga.....pressure koranjathuku apurama open pnnavum

    10). oru 5 spoon ghee la 1/4 cup Grated Copra + 10 cashew nut or groundnut add pannittu itha fry pannunga. konja neram fry pannina poothum.... fry panninatha bisibela bath la pottu mix panni sooooooooda serve pannunga.

    Lakshmi .. kannadigas prepare panra mathiri varumaa.. Avanga dish thaanae ithu athaan ketaen.. I used to make em.. but enna irunthaalum avanga mathiri varathu athaan ketaen

    Bisibela bath -ku masala ellam varuthu arachi, coparai thenga use pannanum, apram atleast 1/2 cup ghee vidanum. Ithuthan kannadiga's secret. One of my kannadiga friend told me this.

    naan oru vaati try pannirukken konja naal munnadi. but engamma recipe padi, naan 1st 2 step'ayum combine panniten. konjam final product sambar saadham'a vandhuruchu(though thats what it is) shredded thengai and nei oothi pannina adhoda taste'e thani enna romba inspire panreenga. adutha vaaram "Kill a Roomie" series'la idha try panna vendiyadhu dhaan.

    Shy, have you tried Bisi Bela Baath in Tamarind, Pittsburgh. supera panniruppaanga. worth the investment :D

    if u want it to be more tasty,u should make sambar powder fresh.it is very easy.u should fry 2 spoons of coriander seeds,1/2 spoon methi seeds,1 spoon gram dhall,dry chillies,1/4 spoon black pepper.finally add few spoons of grated coconut & grind it.if u add half tomato instead of water for grinding,it will be more tasty.

    if u want more spicey,add more dry chillies.if u want little sweetness u can add small piece of vellam finally.
    This masala will definitely add more taste 2 bisi bele bhath
