Well I was under the impression that it was a book written by a certain " Agashthiya Maharishi"
Well the whole point was to find out what the book is about, but since I can find nothing about either the author nor the book on the net, I'm a little confused as to whether or not the said work even exists

check these (probably you might've already done it):
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agastya
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siddhar

from what i understand Agasthiar has written Siddha. probably you might be looking for mooligai vaithiyam. are you sure about that jaala rathinam part perhaps its just a part of a book about a certain siddha vaithiyam. doubt if its a book

where did you hear about it ?

nope I hadn't checked wiki, in fact I know very little of the sage/saint. Well my mother bought this little sculpture and I found the name of the "nool" or book on a the little piece of papaer accompanying it. Unfortunately I couldn't gather much info from it. The way it was written on the leaflet, they made it seem as if it was a rather well known piece of work.

I'll go read up about the saint/sage now :D
    thanks again
