Mango thokku:

Ingredients:

unripe mango - 1
chilli powder
turmeric powder
salt
gingely oil
mustard seeds
fenugreek powder
asafoetida

Preparation:

Grate the mango
In a pan, add sufficient oil (for making pickle adequate amount of oil is needed), when the oil is hot add mustard seeds, curry leaves and then add the grated mango and fry it, while doing so, add little of turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt.stir continously, and if oil is needed it can be added in between.then finally add asafoetida and a little of fenugreek powder.

This thokku can be had with plain rice as mango rice, also it is delicious with curd rice
