Hi Fellars..

Back to old stuff.. how to type in tamil, in the new forum?

You have two ways:

1) Use http://www.suratha.com/unicode.htm and type like you did in the previous forum, copy + paste.

2) Or use the white box and type. It will encode as you type, and once done you can copy and paste back in the grey/blue window/box.

Now suratha.com is easy. The new one, I am still figuring out what keys correspond to what letters.. This thread is the experiment thread. Once done, the last post, we can compile them all and then LOCK>>

Note: for ai and au, if you type in notepad and copy paste it wouldn't work. You will have to type it inside this white box to get ai and au.

easy aathaan irukku.. but niraiya spelling mistakes varuthu.. going back to old keying style..

Whole lotta tamil letters don't show up properly.. Don't know why..

for example.. kO = க்ஓ , and ve = வே and vE = வே which is wrong..

bugs me man.. simply bugs me..

Is it possible change the current tamil converter and get the following embedded here?

This seems to work perfectly. I could type and copy paste.. it comes out ok.. where as in the current one, even when I copy it and paste it.. sometimes it appears as squares..
