Variaties nu headingla irukku.. but just one variety now.. others appurama.. anyone have their way of making this.. please do post

Onion - Cut kutti kuttiyaa - 1
Corriander leaves - 1 bunch - cut around 2inch of the stems and then cut everthing every kutti kuttiyaa. (dont be scared.. since we are frying it.. it will be konjam thaan)

Cooked rice - 2 cups. (uthir uthiryaa irukanum)

To grind:

Grind the following in 1 spoon of oil

(1) Red chillies - 3-4 (increase/decrease the count as per ur taste)
(2) Corriander seeds - 1 spoon
(3) Channa Dhal - Kadalai paruppu - 1 spoon

No water, just grind it to a smooth powder.

(1) Heat a kadai with deep base, add oil, mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal and tumeric powder after few seconds, add the chopped onions. Fry till its slight brown, then add chopped corriander leaves and fry for another 2 mins.

(2) Add the ground podi and fry it for another one minute.

(3) Now switch of the gas. Add rice, salt and mix it well. Finally add a tablespoon of lemon juice and mix it well again.

Kothamalli rice ready.

This is the most simplest one and a very good lunchbox rice item. Other variaties are grinding the leaves etc.. porumaiyaa post panren antha variety..
