    I don't really know if these videos are even good examples of those dance forms...

    Is anyone here a dancer - professional or amateur?

    Bluieeeeee - you forgot Bharatanatyam ...I think San is a professional Bharatanatyan dancer ...

    I didn't forget it I figured everyone must have seen some brilliant examples of Bharathanatyam at one point in there life... so didn't want to ruin that with my bad youtube selection

    Blue's special dance is called Mohini-aattam.. Only on amavasai, that too..

    I know they're quite few different styles of Barathanatyam, but generally they're divided into the more "exoteric" taught at Kalakshetra, and the other more "esoteric" one (see wiki for more help with the whole exoteric vs esoteric )

    but whenever I see a non-Kalakshetra version, it always look extremely sloppy and poorly danced to me . Does anyone else here share the same impression?
