    Default Vazhaipoo Kara Kulambhu

    Vazhaipoo Kara Kulambhu

    Vazhaipoo - 1 - 1.5 cups [ take the stem off and cut into 2 and keep it soaked in water]
    Small Onions - 1 cup [ cut into small circles]
    Garlic - 5-6 [cut into small circles or slices]
    tomato - 2 [cut into small cubes]
    Corriander Powder - 1 spoon
    Jeera powder - 1/2 spoon
    Chilli powder - 1 spoon
    Tamarind - small lemon size
    Coconut milk - 1/4 cup

    (1) Heat kadai, add mustard, urad and 2 dry chillies and fry for few seconds
    (2) Add small onions and garlic and fry for few seconds.
    (3) Add vazhaipoo and fry for 3-4 mins.
    (4) Add tomato and fry till it gets mashed.
    (5) Add all the powders, fry for a second and salt and add the tamarind[adjust as per your taste whatever you need]
    (6) Let it boil for 10 mins.
    (7) Add coconut milk and bring it to a boil and switch off.

    Vazhaipoo kara kulambhu ready !!!

    Shy akka...romba naal kapram neenga podura recipe paakren...eppovum pola puthusa poturkeenga.....Vazhaipoo varattum ...kandipaa senju paakren...

    Chings... try pannittu sollu...

    Suha... enna ippadi solite.. only plant I know off that everything is so filled with healthy stuff... intha poo is very good for women with "that" issues... also the stem....

    yaso vazhaipoo vadaikku vanginen last weekend... konjam meethi irunthathu.. so thought of making a kulambhu out of it try pannitu sollunga !!
