    But please do share other cuisine recipes too

    Tofu 65

    Cube tofu - Regular firm - one cup

    Make a paste of the following:

    1tsp corn flour
    salt per taste
    pepper powder

    You can add chilli powder or corriander powder (Its upto your, if you need it or not.. I add it at times)

    Now, mix tofu with this paste and let it soak for 5-8 mins. Then shallow fry them and keep it aside..

    Now, in a tawa add little oil, add some fennel seeds, cumin seeds (1/2 spoon each), then add 2-3 green chillies (as usual its upto your taste), 2-3 very finely chopped garlic, 1 spoon of ginger paste. Slightly fry it, then add 1/2 big onion finely chopped .. very finely chopped. Once onion is slightly brown, add chopped bell pepper, then finally (mix of these - 1 spoon soy sauce, 1 spoon chilli sauce, 1 spoon tomato sauce). Let it fry for few seconds. then add the fried tofu cubes.. Fry for 2-3 mins.. Add 1 spoon of lime juice and few spoons of corriander leaves.. fry for 2 -3 secs.. and thats it..

    Tofu 65 ready !!!!


    You can do the same with gobi as well.. For gobi in the initial paste, add maida flour as well

    Green Tofu

    Greens can be - Spinach, swiss chard, whatever you have - But no corriander or mint ot beet leaves


    (1) Fry Tofu in a little oil and keep it aside.
    (2) In a pan, add oil, once hot, (finely chopped - add 2-3 garlic, 2-3 green chillies). Then add the greens and let it book.. Greens usually leave water, so let it cook in that, dont add more water. Once done, let it cool. Then grind this mixture with little bit of water.
    (3) In a pan, heat oil, then 1 spoon cumin seeds, then add finely chopped half one big onion. , let it slightly fry. Then add 1 spoon of ginger-garlic paste. Fry until this onion and paste's raw smell goes away.
    (4) Add 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder, corriander powder and chilli powder and fry it for 2-3 mins.
    (5) Now add 2 spoons of tomato puree (if you dont have it, then boil one tomato and then peel the skin and grind it to a paste). Mix itg well and fry for another 2-3 mins.
    (6) Finally add the greens paste and salt. cover and cook for 8-10 mins. Keep an eye as it might get burnt.
    (7) finally add the fried tofu and cook it for a min (no more than that)


    Green tofu ready

    Kadai Paneer

    Ingredients:
    Tofu Cubes - 1 cup
    bell pepper cubes - 1 cup
    tomato puree - 2 spoons
    tomato - 1 - remove the inner seeds and all and cut into cubes.

    Make a paste of the following:

    1 big onion
    Ginger Garlic paste 1 spoon
    Dry chillies - 3-4 (as per your taste)
    Corriander, cumin seeds - 1 spoon each
    Masal - Cloves - 4, cinnamon - 1 small stick, black pepper - 5-6 numbers

    Dry roast all the above except onion and ginger garlic paste. Cool and then grind everything together.

    (1) Fry tofu cubes in a little oil and keep it aside.
    (2) Do the same for bell peppers as well. Then tomato
    (3) Now in a pan, heat oil, then add the paste, tumeric powder and keep the stove in sim, stir occasionaly, oil has to separate.
    (4) Now, add tomato puree, salt and pinch of sugar, 1/4 cup of water and mix well. If you have Kasuri Methi, add half a spoon, 1/4 spoon garam masala...Cook this for 5-6 mins.
    (6) Finally add (1) and (2) and cook for 1- 2 mins...

    Kadai tofu ready ..
