Indian Cricket Team !!!!!
In India cricket is a great pass time for kids of all ages. It is very common to find the kids play "galli cricket " which is "street cricket" after school. It is a very exciting game, especially the one day cricket matches. The game has a world wide fan base and Indian fans are by far the most fanatic. The cricket fever can be contagious and you will surely get into the game if you start talking to a cricket fan.
About One Day and Test Matches
One Day Cricket : it is played in two ways : The first is limited duration, in which a specific number of hours of playing time are allocated and each team plays two innings. The second is limited overs, in which each team plays one innings of a pre-determined number of overs
Test Matches : First class cricket matches are the most prestigious games, played at a professional level. The top level games are international Test matches, played between countries. There are also domestic first class cricket competitions.
Test matches are played over five days, with six hours play each day. Each day's play is divided into three sessions of two hours each, with a 40 minute break between the first two session for lunch, and a 20 minute tea break between the last two sessions. A short drinks break is taken once an hour, or more often in very hot weather.
Each team has two innings, usually played in alternating order. Each innings is over when either ten batsmen are out, or the captain of the batting side declares the innings closed . When all the innings are completed, the team with the most runs wins. If there is a tie, the result stands, which is rare.
Although the game play and rules are very different, the basic concept of cricket is similar to that of baseball. Teams bat in successive innings and attempt to score runs, while the opposing team fields and attempts to bring an end to the batting team's innings. After each team has batted an equal number of innings (either one or two, depending on conditions chosen before the game), the team with the most runs wins.

World Cup 2011 launched in Mumbai
The 2011 World Cup, to be hosted in the sub-continent, was launched in Mumbai on Tuesday with all the fanfare by the International Cricket Council with a member each from most of the previous winners present along with ICC vice-president Sharad Pawar and Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat.
Clive Lloyd, the captain of the West Indies sides that won in 1975 and 1979 in England, India’s 1983 winning-team members Balwinder Sandhu and Dilip Vengsarkar, Sri Lanka’s Aravinda D’Silva who played a major role in the 1996 Cup winning squad and Michael Bevan of Australia who was part of the team that won the crown in 1999 and 2003 were those present.
The sound and laser show that showcased the key moments of all the previous World Cups was a breathtaking affair. Lorgat sought to dispel fears of one-day format being overtaken by the huge popularity of the Twenty20 version saying that the limited overs World Cup continued to be ICC’s showpiece event.
“The (50-over) World Cup is the flagship event of the ICC. What we have will hold up in the future,” he announced to the audience which had several former Mumbai-based Test cricketers including Ajit Wadekar, Bapu Nadkarni and Umesh Kulkarni.
Lorgat also said that the 2011 World Cup would be over in 40-plus dates and would involve 14 teams

Indian Cricket Team !
Indian cricket team is good in bating line. The current Indian team contains many of the world's leading players, including Sachin. Sachin is best batsman. The cricket match “India Vs Pakistan” is interesting.
