Fry jeera,cashewnuts (2 table spoons) in oil (if u fry in ghee the taste will be excellent)keep it apart .. Take required amount of basmati rice (say 1 cup) pour2 table spns of ghee and fry for 2 minutes at moderate heat. This is to ensure that rice when cooked stays apart(vuthiryaa) add salt and 2 medium chopped green chillies,transfer the contents to a cooker add the jeera +cashew in cooker pour 2 cups of water and wait for 3 whistle.after some time add corriander leaves for garnishing and stir and serve.to improve garnishing on side of bowls/plates keep chopped cucumbers,tomatoes .
This can be served with dal kolhapuri or mixed veg/ any chicken gravy
