You may already know or you might have seen theTV advertisement or a clip on this…But still

There are many incidents of Fixing Two way mirrors especially in Ladies changing room, Toilets, bathroom…etc are coming into light. The fixers of these mirrors take photograph or filmed and upload in the net

How many of us know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is real mirror or a two way mirror i.e. They can see you but you can’t see them. It is impossible to find out just looking at the mirror.

SIMPLE TEST TO FIND OUT TWO WAY MIRRORS

Place the tip of your finger nail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail then it is a GENUINE mirror. In case the thickness of the mirror is very low then you may have to use a pen or pencil instead of nail.

If your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHS the image of your nail then BEWARE IT IS TWO WAY MIRROR (i.e. some can see you from the other side). So REMBER TO DO THIS TEST EVERY TIME Especially if you are using Public Private places.

The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass. Whereas with two-way mirror, the silver is on the surface. Keep it mind

Not only mirrors one should be careful about but also other gadgets. There are clandestine cameras those wretched people fix in anything and everywhere. These days tiny cameras (even quarter size of your shirt button) are there in the market which can be pasted in ceiling, fan, lamp shades, table lamp, AC, window, door, telephone, and enything and everything including the plug holes. These can be remotely controlled and they record/transfer the activities. So one should do a thorough check in change/trial rooms and hotel rooms and in case of suspicion, it is better to leave.

I feel that it is best for ladies not to use public/hotel/dress changing rooms. They should think this.

Thank you very much for the information.Sri manikandan has suggested women should not use any public restrooms.Unfortunately, in India women are very handicapped in this matter. Bus stations, Railway stations and for that matter most of the sulabh souchalayas,temples, choultrys etc. are so filthy and stinking that one does not even want to enter them. It is not healthy to hold until one reaches your home or any safe place, as this is the direct cause for infection and maybe renal failure also. This topic was deliberated in an NGO and posters etc. were made to highlight the difficulties of women.Neither the government , nor the private sector has been able to solve this problem in any manner. We are all said and done greatly lacking in civic sense.Most of the time the country is known for using anywhere and everywhere as an open toilet.
Any answer? GOd save us women.

I am with you in support. The Government is spending 70,000 crores for a 14 day tamasha called Commonwealth Games but turns a blind eye to sanitation, health, education etc. which are the basic needs of the people.
